Hello, my name is Lynnette, and yoga has been my "Ananda" since the first day I stepped onto my yoga mat. Ananda is a Sanskrit word meaning divine joy, utter bliss, and happiness. I offer in-person, group and private yoga classes in Tzaneen and extend my passion through various events, retreats, workshops, an online shop, and an online community. Five years ago, I took a significant step in my personal growth by enrolling in both my 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, qualifying as an Advanced Yoga Teacher within the same year. Initially, my intention was personal - to invest in my well-being and transformation. I sought to unbecome the constraints of my past and evolve into a better version of myself. This journey not only transformed me but also rippled out to those around me. April marked a special time for Ananda Wellness Yoga, as we celebrated our anniversary on April 7th, 2024, marking four years of sharing bliss and well-being.
During my training, my yoga teachers constantly encouraged me to teach, saying, “Lynnette, you have brought a soul-level of bliss to our trainings, shared utter joy, love, and awareness with each of us. You have a calling and need to share this with others, to let everyone feel these ‘hugs’ and help them feel whole again.” It took time for me to embrace this path, as I was deeply focused on my own journey. However, with encouragement from family and friends who saw the passion within me, I eventually realized my calling. Thus, Ananda Wellness was born, blossoming from my personal pursuit of bliss into a haven for others.
At the core of Ananda Wellness is the principle of Ananda - bliss. To stay true to this, I continuously connect to Mula, the root of my teachings, and the source of my passion. This grounding provides stability and calm, helping me remain present and embrace life's changing seasons. We have welcomed autumn, a season of vibrant colors, chilly evenings, and bountiful harvests, it’s also a time for release and reflection. Autumn encourages us to take stock, return to our roots, and find stability and grounding before the transition into winter. The joy and happiness I experience in each class, event, retreat, and workshop reaffirm my purpose and privilege of being part of your journey every time you step onto your mat with me.

This retreat is a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, deepen your practice, and find your inner bliss.
